This EP is very much Synthpop stylized EBM with a slightly softer edge than other releases. The tracks fade into the background and wash over you… your mind wanders then suddenly something jumps out of the soundscape and grabs your attention again, let's it go, only to grab it again with the next mutation… impressive and growing on me.

There's a bit of everything for any electronic music fan in this EP. You can hear influences from early ebm à la Frontline Assembly through Decoded Feedback style darkwave right to the pinnacle of synth/futurepop with Aydhium. A real spine tingler for me.
Favorite track: Aydhium.

The "Colder Lights" EP starts off with the quite obscure track “Here Today” with AESTHETISCHE’s unique signature of complex arrangements and full on choruses. "Escape Valve" shoots on a dancier side mixing straight EBM with floating trancier elements while "Aydhium" invites you to a full dancefloor uplifting assault that will leave you breathless on the clubfloor...
